TWO VERY LONG PERIODS

Two very long periods is part of a sonic research project based in Doha Qatar led by Simone Muscolino. The tracks were produced for the Tasmeem Doha Biennial art and design conference. Additional audio is available on SoundCloud. All music is written and composed by Simone Muscolino with support from water with water [w/w/w] and Tasmeem Doha. This record is distributed by w/w/w and Tasmeem Doha with support from Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts in Qatar.

Sonic Jeel, a design elective course and pseudo record label exploring systems of sound using small portable synthesizers and sampling. Students perform weekly and the results are recorded, edited and remixed. For Tasmeem, students will perform live loops of their sound experimentations through a narrative journey of beats, rhythms and plot twists.
