SIR DAVID ADJAYE OBE
OPENING KEYNOTE
Sir David Adjaye OBE is Founder and Principal of Adjaye Associates. His broadly ranging influences, ingenious use of materials and sculptural ability have established him as an architect with an artist’s sensibility and vision. His largest project to date, the National Museum of African American History and Culture opened on the National Mall in Washington DC in 2016 and was named Cultural Event of the Year by the New York Times and the Beazley Design of the Year by the Design Museum.
JULIA KOERNER
CLOSING KEYNOTE
Julia Koerner is an award-winning Austrian designer working at the convergence of architecture, product and fashion design, specialised in 3D-printing. She is founder of JK Design GmbH and faculty member at UCLA. Her recent collaborations include 3D-Printed Haute Couture and costumes for Hollywood blockbuster Black Panther.
